AECOM is looking for a Workday QA Testing Lead to establish a foundational testing strategy for our HR systems. This newly created role is an opportunity to shape testing processes from the ground up, building a robust, scalable, and repeatable framework for our Workday platform that supports both enhancements and regular updates.
What You'll Do
- Develop, review, and execute test scenarios, scripts, and plans to validate product functionality against requirements.
- Perform functional, security, and regression testing of enhancement and incident-fix releases alongside regional business leads.
- Coordinate with regional business leads, business testers, and the Build Team to ensure reported defects and issues from UAT are resolved.
- Ensure timely test completion and clear communication of results.
- Support audit team requests for information on the test process.
- Provide actionable feedback to improve application enhancement development, testing, and deployment processes.
- Stay current with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies, and provide recommendations on standards, practices, documentation, and automation.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 6-8 years of Workday functional experience in Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Talent/Performance Management, and Security.
- Workday Report Writer skills to pull test data and audit information.
- Familiarity with the ServiceNow case management system.
- 2–3 years of experience in QA/testing roles, ideally within a SaaS support organization or tech consultancy.
- A strong understanding of Agile testing practices and the four quadrants of testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proven skills in stakeholder expectation management.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to in-depth Workday configuration, end-to-end solutions, and downstream system impacts is an advantage.
