What You'll Do
Define and lead the system test approach for software solutions, ensuring alignment with product development timelines and strategic goals. Guide a team of test professionals, including senior contributors, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
Identify potential risks to quality and delivery schedules, then adapt testing strategies, staffing, and priorities accordingly. Turn high-level product plans into actionable quality assurance frameworks that support reliable releases.
Develop test strategies for new features, major enhancements, and integrated systems. Establish meaningful quality metrics such as release readiness, quality gates, and predictability to inform decision-making across engineering and product teams.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Leaders, and external partners to balance speed, quality, and risk. Advise leadership on the implications of quality decisions and operational trade-offs. Support the adoption of test automation within teams, promoting hands-on practices while improving overall testing efficiency.
Requirements
A degree in Engineering or a related field is required. You should bring deep experience in software quality assurance within product development, with a proven ability to lead QA efforts across multiple teams and product lines.
