As a Senior Software Tester, you will play a central role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical federal systems through the STORES 2.0 modernization effort. You'll shape testing strategy from the ground up, working within a ServiceNow-based architecture to validate complex business workflows and technical integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement end-to-end test plans aligned with organizational goals and regulatory standards
- Translate user stories and business processes into detailed, executable test cases
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and compliance testing across application layers
- Lead accessibility testing efforts, ensuring adherence to Section 508 requirements
- Use ServiceNow AT to build and maintain automated test scripts and workflows
- Log, manage, and retest defects using Jira, coordinating resolution with development teams
- Facilitate defect triage sessions and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps to resolve technical challenges
- Develop test documentation, user guides, and status reports for technical and leadership audiences
- Analyze system architecture and internal security controls to inform testing scope
- Support project planning and execution, helping to keep initiatives on schedule and within scope
