Role Overview
A leading financial technology platform is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to strengthen its software quality assurance efforts. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring robust, user-focused solutions across web and mobile environments. You'll work within agile development cycles, contributing to test planning, execution, and continuous improvement of digital products serving consumers and small businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, update, and execute test cases across multiple test suites
- Conduct in-depth testing during sprints, focusing on new features and updates
- Perform smoke, functional, regression, and A/B testing on both web and mobile platforms
- Identify, document, and track defects while coordinating with developers and stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive end-to-end test plans and ensure their successful implementation
- Support user acceptance testing and engage with business teams to align on quality standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four years of hands-on experience in manual QA for web or mobile applications
- Proven track record in sprint-based testing environments
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and lifecycles
- Experience creating detailed test plans and executing release, feature, and regression testing
- Working knowledge of SQL and REST APIs
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify potential issues
- Fluency in English at B2/C1 level
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python scripting
- Background in Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
Work Environment
This position supports a flexible model, fully remote with location based in Spain. While there is an optional office in Valencia, remote work is fully supported. The culture is international and inclusive, with a strong focus on innovation and modern technical practices.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary between €40,000 and €50,000
