Responsibilities
- Assist business unit leaders in shaping pricing and packaging strategies.
- Lead competitive and market research to guide pricing benchmarks and market positioning.
- Create segmentation-driven strategies tailored to companies of varying sizes and asset types.
- Build and refine monetization models such as recurring subscriptions, usage-based fees, and transactional add-ons.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators related to pricing effectiveness.
- Collaborate with financial planning and analysis to run pricing experiments and assess elasticity.
- Perform win/loss analysis and apply customer insights to improve pricing approaches.
- Work with finance teams to forecast revenue and margin impacts from pricing adjustments.
- Align with product and business unit leaders to match packaging with product features and development plans.
- Equip customer-facing teams with pricing tools, training, and responses to common objections.
- Manage structured implementation and communication of pricing and packaging updates.
- Maintain records and historical logs of pricing decisions and changes.
- Partner with business operations and revenue operations to oversee pricing systems and internal tools like CPQ and billing platforms.
