As a Senior Associate in Strategy & Operations, you will play a central role in shaping and refining pricing and promotional frameworks that directly influence the performance of a rapidly expanding restaurant marketplace. Your work will center on designing and evaluating commercial initiatives that balance growth, profitability, and operational feasibility across the ANZ region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development and assessment of pricing strategies and promotional programs, ensuring they deliver measurable business value
- Establish and uphold rigorous standards for analytical quality across teams
- Develop unit-level economic models and design experiments to validate the commercial viability of offers
- Define the structure of bundles, discounts, and pricing mechanics that reach millions of users
- Build first-principles sensitivity models to evaluate financial trade-offs and long-term sustainability
- Ensure all recommendations are grounded in clear P&L logic and margin implications
- Produce strategic frameworks that enable leadership to make informed decisions under uncertainty
- Serve as a trusted advisor on initiatives with significant market impact
- Operate with autonomy to resolve critical issues in the New Zealand market
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align promotional strategy with operational capacity and business goals
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of three years in management consulting or high-velocity commercial roles with a focus on execution
- Strong analytical foundation—able to deconstruct complex problems, detect flaws in reasoning, and translate data into clear actions
- Hands-on experience with pricing architecture, funding models, and forecasting behavioral responses to incentives
- Excellent written communication skills, with a habit of leading with evidence and simplifying nuanced trade-offs for senior audiences
- Proven ability to work independently—manage timelines, deliver clean outputs, and influence cross-functional partners without formal authority
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with limited data and urgent deadlines
