As a Product Designer (Pro) within the Bare Metal team, you'll play a key role in crafting clear, effective interfaces for complex cloud infrastructure products. Your work will directly influence how users interact with powerful technical tools, ensuring accessibility and efficiency across the board.
What You’ll Do
- Engage with users through interviews and story mapping to uncover real-world challenges and behaviors.
- Develop both low- and high-fidelity prototypes to guide development and align stakeholders.
- Run usability tests in coordination with product and research teams, then translate findings into actionable improvements.
- Work alongside product managers, developers, and UX writers in a collaborative triad model to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Track and communicate impact using both qualitative insights and quantitative metrics.
- Support internal design advocacy through onboarding and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- At least five years of hands-on experience in product design, preferably in technical or developer-facing environments.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and a solid portfolio showcasing dashboard and interface design.
- Experience using analytics tools such as Amplitude, Hotjar, or Tableau to inform design decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present and document work clearly.
- A collaborative mindset, with resilience, empathy, and openness to feedback.
- Proven ability to thrive in agile, cross-functional teams and contribute to long-term product vision.
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, allowing up to three days of remote work weekly. Offices are located in Paris, Lille, Toulouse, Rennes, Rouen, Bordeaux, and Lyon—each designed for comfort and collaboration, with access to outdoor spaces and bike storage.
