As a Product Designer focused on Growth, you'll play a central role in crafting user experiences that guide new customers through their first interactions with Stripe. Your work will span marketing pages, the user dashboard, and onboarding pathways, ensuring a seamless journey from discovery to activation.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign how pricing and product packages are presented to make Stripe’s offerings clearer and more accessible, both during sign-up and within the dashboard.
- Create cohesive experiences that connect marketing content with product functionality, helping users transition smoothly into active use.
- Develop intuitive flows that support early engagement, helping users activate accounts and identify the right tools for their business needs.
- Design frictionless onboarding experiences that reflect best-in-class usability and scalability.
- Stay informed about Stripe’s full product ecosystem, customer needs, and emerging trends in AI/ML as they relate to growth strategies.
- Collaborate across the Growth team to improve acquisition, conversion, and retention through thoughtful design.
- Advocate for design excellence within growth initiatives and align projects with broader design objectives.
- Partner closely with engineering and product teams to bring user-facing features to life.
- Support adjacent teams by addressing their growth and onboarding challenges through design solutions.
- Engage with user research to inform and validate your designs, contributing to ongoing studies.
- Present your work regularly in design reviews to leadership and cross-functional partners.
Qualifications
You bring at least five years of experience designing digital products in a technology-driven environment, with a focus on onboarding, sign-up flows, or growth-oriented features. You’re skilled at communicating complex ideas clearly, aligning diverse stakeholders, and working independently with ownership.
Preferred candidates can distill intricate systems into simple, powerful experiences, especially when explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You’re curious about how systems work and enjoy hands-on problem solving. Experience with A/B testing or data-informed design is valuable. You’re comfortable presenting your process and decisions, actively seek feedback, and thrive in collaborative environments where designers learn from one another. Above all, you balance a deep commitment to user needs with the ability to drive focused, impactful outcomes across projects and teams.
