Shape the strategic narrative around SaaS compliance as a continuous, operational function within modern security programs. In this role, you'll define how organizations understand and respond to compliance in dynamic cloud environments, moving beyond point-in-time audits to real-time risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop positioning and messaging that clarifies how compliance integrates into daily security operations across the Obsidian platform
- Articulate a forward-looking perspective on the evolution of compliance in SaaS, influencing both internal strategy and external market understanding
- Create targeted narratives for TPRM, GRC, Application Security, Cloud Security, and CISO stakeholders, ensuring alignment under a unified story
- Work closely with Product teams to frame roadmap priorities around customer outcomes and compliance use cases
- Lead go-to-market planning for compliance-focused features, solutions, and campaigns
- Produce high-impact content such as solution briefs, executive summaries, sales tools, and launch assets
- Align with demand generation, communications, and field teams to amplify messaging across channels
- Apply insights from customers, analysts, and competitors to refine positioning and uncover growth areas
- Represent the company in discussions with customers, industry analysts, and media on compliance trends
- Track and optimize go-to-market performance in collaboration with growth and analytics teams
What You Bring
- 7+ years in product marketing or product management, with a focus on cybersecurity, SaaS, compliance, or risk
- Proven success in crafting messaging and leading GTM for technically complex products
- Ability to influence both market perception and business results
- Understanding of how compliance frameworks apply in real-world SaaS environments
- Familiarity with identity sprawl, privilege management, misconfigurations, third-party access, and continuous monitoring
- Strength in distilling technical and procedural complexity into clear, accessible messaging for technical and executive audiences
- Experience building durable, differentiated positioning in competitive markets
- Deep insight into how TPRM, GRC, security teams, and CISOs evaluate and adopt solutions
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration with Product, Sales, and Marketing
- Self-motivated approach with adaptability in fast-changing environments
- Ability to anticipate shifts in regulation and market expectations
Technology Environment
Engage with platforms including Microsoft 365, Salesforce, SaaS security tools, compliance frameworks, and continuous control monitoring systems.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Palo Alto, California. Candidates must be located near the area to support in-person collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $213,000 – $231,000 USD
