Facade Designer & Estimator
We're on the hunt for a sharp-eyed Facade Designer and Estimator who knows the ins and outs of façade detailing. If you geek out over precise shop drawings and can crunch numbers like a pro, this role is calling your name. You'll be diving deep into architectural plans, using specialized software to bring complex building exteriors to life, and collaborating with engineers to make sure every detail is pitch-perfect.
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems.
-Perform material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating summaries in Excel/PDF.
-Work closely with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations.
-Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specs.
-Use Logikal, AutoCAD, and Excel to complete design and estimation tasks efficiently.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in façade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems.
-Skilled in preparing shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries.
-Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel.
-Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings.
-Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
