The Electrical Engineer will join a collaborative engineering team within an Approval Authority, contributing to both ongoing operations and upcoming programmes. This role focuses on evaluating electrical system designs in high and low voltage settings, ensuring modifications are technically sound and properly justified for authorization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to assess electrical installation designs
- Support current and future engineering initiatives through technical evaluation
- Develop clear, defensible technical justifications for proposed electrical design changes
- Apply broad and specialized engineering knowledge to implement established and evolving technologies
- Deliver electrical engineering expertise across complex, multi-discipline projects
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in assessing electrical installations in HV or LV environments
- Proven ability to produce technical assessments that support design modification approvals
- Strong foundation in applying both general and specialized engineering principles
- Background in contributing to multi-discipline engineering efforts
- Eligible for SC security clearance
- Meets UK residency and nationality requirements due to project sensitivity
Work Environment
