- Act as the primary technical contact during site visits, delivering expert consultation and building trust through clear communication and problem-solving.
- Design, refine, and maintain application-specific models and algorithms to meet product quality and throughput goals.
- Integrate new and updated systems into existing production lines, ensuring compatibility and operational efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance, system upgrades, and performance tuning to maximize uptime and sorting accuracy.
- Diagnose complex technical issues, implement corrective actions, and collaborate with internal specialists when needed.
- Deliver training sessions for customers and service personnel, and contribute to internal knowledge sharing through documentation and data review.
Qualifications
You hold formal education or vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a closely related technical discipline. You are fluent in both Dutch and English, with the ability to interpret electrical diagrams and apply industry safety standards. Proficiency with hand tools and a practical mindset are essential. You approach challenges methodically, manage your schedule independently, and take accountability for outcomes.
Experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or industrial installation is advantageous. Knowledge of German is beneficial but not required.
Technology & Tools
You will work directly with electrical schematics, diagnostic instruments, and industrial control systems. Your tasks involve configuring sensor-based sorting platforms, fine-tuning algorithms, and applying safety protocols in live production environments.
Work Environment
This role requires extensive travel—over 80% of your time will be spent on-site with customers, including multi-day assignments. A shared office space is available locally, but flexibility is emphasized. You will receive a company vehicle approved for personal use, along with full expense coverage and competitive daily allowances.
