About the Role
The selected candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade WiFi systems, ensuring robust performance, security, and scalability across diverse operational environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and deployment of scalable wireless network architectures
- Conduct site surveys and RF analysis to optimize signal coverage and throughput
- Design secure WiFi solutions compliant with federal cybersecurity standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration with existing network infrastructure
- Evaluate emerging wireless technologies for potential adoption
- Develop technical documentation for network designs and configurations
- Provide expert guidance during system testing and troubleshooting phases
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and technical specifications
- Support certification and accreditation processes for network systems
- Lead technical reviews and design validation exercises
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment procurement and support
- Maintain awareness of spectrum regulations and compliance requirements
- Optimize network performance under high-demand operational conditions
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
- Prepare and present design proposals to stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in a technical engineering discipline
- Certifications such as CWNE, CCIE Wireless, or equivalent
- Experience with WiFi 6 and WiFi 6E technologies
- Knowledge of zero-trust network architectures
- Experience in classified or secure government environments
- Familiarity with network automation and programmable infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with spectrum analyzers and packet capture tools
- Prior leadership role in large-scale wireless deployments
- Understanding of electromagnetic interference mitigation techniques
- Experience with wireless intrusion detection and prevention systems

Security Clearance
