Role Overview
This position serves as the principal technical liaison for customers in the aerospace, defense, and emerging autonomy sectors. You will engage at the system architecture level to support the development and deployment of advanced RF, microwave, communications, and navigation subsystems used in drones, radar systems, electronic warfare, and autonomous platforms. The focus is on enabling complete system solutions across semiconductor, module, and subsystem integration rather than component-level support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to defense startups, established primes, and growing technology companies
- Support full system architectures including RF signal chains from DC to over 40 GHz
- Engage on radar systems, electronic warfare subsystems, and software-defined radio platforms
- Provide expertise in MEMS-based inertial navigation, stabilization, power distribution, and high-speed data conversion
- Guide customers from concept through prototyping and into production
- Assist in partitioning system architectures and selecting optimal semiconductor, module, or subsystem solutions
- Enable sensor fusion combining RF, navigation, and digital processing capabilities
- Promote reuse of evaluation boards, prototypes, and rapid-iteration hardware to accelerate development
- Help reduce time-to-field and avoid redundant qualification cycles through smart reuse strategies
- Bridge internal engineering teams—RF, MEMS, power, and software—with external customer initiatives
- Deliver structured feedback to shape future product roadmaps
- Support growth of defense and autonomy ecosystems within Turkey
- Identify early-stage drone, electronic warfare, and radar programs
- Strengthen relationships with system integrators and government-affiliated organizations
Required Qualifications
- Turkish citizenship is mandatory
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Applications Engineering, Field Systems Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Strong foundational knowledge across analog, data conversion, power, and RF/microwave technologies
- Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: radar systems, electronic warfare, military communications, software-defined radio, MEMS-based inertial measurement units (IMUs), navigation systems, or autonomous platforms including drones
- Fluency in both Turkish and English
Technical Environment
You will work with RF signal chains (DC–40+ GHz), radar and electronic warfare subsystems, software-defined radio platforms, MEMS-based inertial navigation and stabilization systems, power distribution networks, data conversion architectures, and sensor fusion solutions. Your work will involve evaluation boards, prototyping hardware, and rapid-iteration development platforms.
Compensation & Work Environment
This role is based in Turkey with up to 10% required travel. The position requires local presence and alignment with national eligibility requirements.
