Micron Technology was looking for a Software Automation Engineer

At Micron, our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. We are looking for a Software Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain software applications that support system-level DRAM product validation, characterization, and failure analysis. You will execute the entire software development life cycle from planning to deployment.

What You'll Do

  • Interface with stakeholders, develop action plans, and enhance source code.
  • Perform full-stack web development for lab management tools.
  • Develop data pipelines for lab data handling.
  • Provide data analysis software support through cloud and on-premise frameworks.
  • Evaluate and develop action plans as result of stakeholder collaboration and feedback.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and identify improvement opportunities for existing solutions.
  • Implement and maintain project documentation.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Software Development, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation.
  • Experience with full stack programming tools and frameworks, including Flask, React, Spring, NodeJS, and .NET ASP.
  • Experience with programming languages to support backend data processing, including Python, Java, C# and database query languages.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD frameworks, including Jenkins, Git, OpenStack, GCP, Openshift, or Docker.
  • Experience with Unix based operation system usage.
