Hologenix is looking for a Quality Engineer to shape the quality strategy for mobile applications serving a user base in the millions. In this key role, you will bridge immediate quality assurance needs with a future of comprehensive automation, executing manual tests while constructing robust automation frameworks.
What You'll Do
- Drive the quality engineering strategy at both product and project levels, determining test inclusion in nightly builds versus CI/CD pipelines.
- Investigate test failures using tools like Proxyman or Charles Proxy to analyze API layers and isolate UI versus backend issues.
- Perform manual execution, regression testing, and desk checks on Jira stories while establishing the foundation for automation.
- Author detailed test plans and cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of positive, negative, and edge-case scenarios.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application testing and test automation.
- Production-level, hands-on experience with XCUI Test for iOS and Espresso for Android.
- Proficiency with Postman, Charles Proxy, or Proxyman for validating API traffic and debugging.
- Strong working knowledge of Jira for integrating quality notes into stories and managing team workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience using Xray for test management.
- A solid understanding of CI/CD integration processes.
