As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our product. You'll be responsible for validating features through thorough testing, translating user stories into effective test cases, and executing comprehensive test plans across functional, regression, and edge scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual testing to verify feature functionality and ensure consistent quality standards
- Review requirements and user stories to develop clear, traceable test cases
- Execute test plans and document results, identifying edge cases and potential risks
- Log, track, and follow up on defects, working closely with development teams to confirm resolutions
- Engage directly with support, product, and client-facing teams to investigate reported issues and communicate updates
- Deliver validation reports to support release decisions and provide confidence in deployment readiness
- Collaborate with team members across multiple time zones in a fully distributed setup
- Identify opportunities for test automation and provide actionable feedback to automation engineers
- Help refine testing workflows, documentation practices, and overall QA processes
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years in software testing, QA, or a closely related field
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Postman, Jira, or comparable QA platforms
- Proven ability to derive test cases from technical and functional specifications
- Strong analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for cross-team collaboration
- Self-driven approach with the ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Adaptability in a remote, fast-paced environment with shifting timelines
- Residence in North, Central, or South America
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Basic knowledge of triggering automated tests through CI/CD pipelines
- Background in SaaS, B2B, or customer-facing software products
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks or scripting languages
- Understanding of release cycles and deployment workflows

This is a fully remote role with team members distributed across the Americas. You’ll work within a flexible, asynchronous structure that values ownership, clarity, and consistent delivery. Technical tools include Postman, Jira, and AIO for test planning and execution.
