At ALTEN, we are looking for a QA Engineer to join our ecosystem of excellence. You will be responsible for defining and implementing comprehensive test strategies, automating tests, and acting as a QA referent and mentor within your team, ensuring quality throughout the application lifecycle.
What You'll Do
- Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and quality validation strategies.
- Ensure the quality of deliverables throughout the entire application lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and business teams to ensure integrated quality using shift-left testing.
- Set up, maintain, and evolve test automation frameworks like Cucumber or Playwright.
- Drive the automation of all existing manual tests.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Act as the QA referent and mentor teams on best practices in test strategy, BDD, automation, and continuous quality.
What We're Looking For
- A Bac+5 in computer science.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in QA.
- Solid experience in designing, executing, and managing test plans.
- Excellent mastery of test automation tools, specifically Cucumber and Playwright or equivalents.
- Good understanding of testing practices within an Agile environment.
- Ability to work in strong collaboration with development teams.
- Strong autonomy, sense of responsibility, and long-term commitment.
- Experience using generative AI for automatic test creation.
- Knowledge of web session recording tools for capturing user scenarios.
- Mastery of API performance and load testing.
- Experience with API testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Technical leadership and a coaching or mentoring posture.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong personal involvement and commitment to quality issues.
