Analog Devices is hiring a Principal Product Applications Engineer

About the Role

Shape the future of power management in advanced consumer devices by leading technical strategy and product development for next-generation integrated circuits. In this role, you will define the direction of power solutions for high-volume applications, translating complex system requirements into actionable technical roadmaps for DC/DC converters, PMICs, and charging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product requirements and long-term technical vision by interpreting customer needs and market trends in smartphones, augmented reality, virtual reality, and wearable platforms.
  • Oversee end-to-end development cycles, ensuring design, performance, and timeline objectives are achieved across cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between design engineering, business units, and field applications, aligning system architecture with market demands.
  • Provide expert-level guidance on power conversion topologies, system modeling, and hardware/firmware integration for complex consumer applications.
  • Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including datasheets and application notes, to support global customer engagement and design adoption.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify strategic opportunities and drive design wins with major technology partners.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum of 12 years in analog or power electronics, with demonstrated success in bringing high-volume consumer ICs to market.
  • Deep knowledge of system-level power architectures for mobile and portable devices.
  • Strong experience in co-design practices and modeling of hardware and firmware systems.
