In this role, you’ll serve as a key technical resource for both internal teams and external customers, focusing on advanced analog and power electronics systems. You’ll work hands-on to troubleshoot, prototype, and refine designs, ensuring high-performance power solutions meet demanding requirements in fields like aerospace, medical technology, and semiconductor manufacturing.
What You’ll Do
- Partner directly with customers to understand design challenges and deliver practical, high-impact solutions
- Lead technical demonstrations, training sessions, and product deep dives to clarify complex concepts
- Develop application notes, evaluation platforms, and technical documentation to support product adoption
- Collaborate with design engineering to inform future product development based on field insights
- Support new product introductions, including datasheet development and validation testing
- Conduct lab-based failure analysis and root cause investigations to improve reliability
- Act as a liaison between customer needs and engineering capabilities, driving resolution on critical technical issues
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Eligibility to meet U.S. Government “U.S. Eyes Only” requirements
- Strong foundation in analog circuit design, power topologies, and schematic interpretation
- Experience with SPICE simulation, op amps, voltage references, and switching regulators
- Background in customer-facing engineering roles is preferred
- Five or more years in applications or design engineering, particularly in power analog systems, is a plus
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in Tucson, Arizona, with flexibility for remote arrangements for qualified candidates. Expect up to 35% travel across North and South America to meet with customers and witness your solutions in action. Onboarding includes targeted mentoring and hands-on training with product-specific systems.
