We're looking for freelance Electrical Engineers who are proficient in Python to contribute to AI training projects. In this role, you'll develop realistic, multi-step engineering challenges and assess AI-generated responses for technical accuracy, logical consistency, and adherence to real-world constraints.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed electrical engineering problems that reflect actual professional scenarios
- Review AI-proposed solutions, checking for valid assumptions, correct calculations, and appropriate application of principles
- Use Python with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy to verify simulations and numerical results
- Refine AI reasoning patterns to follow standard engineering methodologies
- Apply consistent evaluation criteria to assess complex, multi-stage problems
What We Require
- Formal education in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline such as Electronics, Power Systems, or Embedded Systems
- At least three years of hands-on engineering experience
- Advanced written English skills (C1/C2 level or equivalent)
- Proven ability to use Python for technical computing and data validation
- Reliable internet access for remote collaboration
Nice to Have
- Professional engineering certification (e.g., PE, CEng, EUR ING, RPEQ)
- Background in international projects or applied research settings
Work Arrangement
This is a non-permanent, project-based position open to candidates worldwide. Active phases may require 10–20 hours per week, though workload varies and is not guaranteed. Tasks are conducted remotely, and availability depends on project cycles.
Compensation
Pay is project-dependent and based on scope, complexity, and expertise required. The baseline rate is equivalent to $13 per hour, with potential variation across assignments. Additional compensation details are provided per project.
