RemoteVA PH is hiring a Packaging/Carton Designer focused on the structural design of folding cartons. In this role, you will create functional, brand-appropriate, and cost-efficient packaging solutions, collaborating directly with clients and production teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop folding carton structures to fit specific product dimensions and client requirements.
- Create dielines and 3D prototypes using ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design.
- Collaborate with clients and production teams to ensure accurate specifications and production readiness.
- Recommend box styles and materials based on product protection, cost-efficiency, and branding needs.
- Maintain organized project files with strict version control.
- Optimize structural designs for manufacturability and ease of assembly.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and packaging materials.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in folding carton and structural packaging design.
- Proficiency in ArtiosCAD or Cimex CAD Design.
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, die-cutting, gluing, and finishing processes.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret client needs and translate them into practical packaging solutions.
- Hands-on experience with various folding styles, such as tuck-end, crash bottom, lock bottom, and sleeve boxes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
