Role Overview
We are looking for an Industrial Designer to lead the creation of consumer products from initial concept to final production. In this role, you will shape the look, feel, and usability of products that meet both user needs and business goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts through sketches, renderings, and physical or digital models
- Translate user insights and technical requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing designs
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and scalable
- Produce detailed design documentation, including specifications and material selections
- Iterate on prototypes based on testing feedback and performance criteria
- Stay current with materials, processes, and trends in consumer product design
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field
- Proven experience designing mass-produced consumer products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development and final execution
- Proficiency in design software such as CAD, 3D modeling, and rendering tools
- Understanding of manufacturing techniques including injection molding, finishing, and assembly
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present and defend design choices
