As a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer for the Web Core Product, you'll play a key role in maintaining the reliability and usability of a high-impact web application. Your primary responsibility will be designing and executing thorough test plans to verify functionality, catch edge-case issues, and validate fixes across multiple browsers and devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive test cases that cover core workflows and complex user interactions
- Perform detailed manual testing for each release, including regression and bug verification
- Document defects clearly with reproducible steps, expected outcomes, and technical context
- Use browser developer tools to investigate and support issue diagnosis
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to prioritize fixes based on user impact
- Contribute actively to Agile ceremonies, ensuring QA input is integrated throughout the development cycle
- Improve testing processes by identifying gaps in coverage and suggesting practical refinements
What You Bring
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
- At least three years of focused manual QA experience with web applications
- Solid grasp of testing methodologies: test design, regression strategies, exploratory techniques, and defect reporting
- Proven experience working in Agile environments alongside engineering and product partners
- Strong analytical skills to isolate root causes and communicate technical issues effectively
- Proficiency with issue tracking systems such as Jira or Linear
- Experience using Postman or similar tools for API validation
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Familiarity with accessibility standards like WCAG
- Background in audio-based or assistive technologies
- Exposure to test automation frameworks
