This position supports the deployment and maintenance of WatchGuard Video systems for public safety clients throughout the Eastern Region of the United States. The role requires up to 50% travel and centers on installing and maintaining both in-vehicle hardware and cloud-based software platforms, including configurations on Windows, Linux, and Azure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain WatchGuard Video applications and in-car police video hardware at customer locations
- Assess technical requirements and implement reliable, cost-efficient system solutions
- Collaborate with leadership to align technical deployments with business priorities
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to video systems and communication networks
- Provide hands-on training to end users on full system operation and best practices
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a high school diploma or technical certificate, or have at least three years of relevant experience in fields such as radio communications, wireless systems, IT, telecommunications, or public safety technology. A CompTIA certification is required, along with the ability to pass a government-mandated background check and possess a valid driver’s license.
Preferred candidates will have prior field service experience, a proven ability to deploy technical systems, and strong troubleshooting skills in IT and communication environments.
Technical Environment
The role involves working with WatchGuard Video platforms, cloud infrastructure on Azure, Linux and Windows servers, and in-car video hardware. Experience with LMR, RF systems, Motorola equipment, and wireless communication networks is essential.
