Hire Overseas is looking for an E-Commerce Web Developer focused on the technical implementation that powers digital performance. This role is for someone who loves working behind the scenes—implementing tracking, configuring events, and ensuring every pixel fires correctly to support high-performance ad campaigns.
What You'll Do
- Install and configure Google Tag Manager (GTM), Meta Pixel, and other tracking tools on client websites
- Set up conversion events for lead generation and ecommerce sites, such as form fills, checkouts, and add-to-cart actions
- Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure clean data flow across platforms
- Work across multiple CMS and ecommerce platforms including WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and Wix to insert tracking codes and configure plugins
- Ensure minimal disruption to site layout or performance during tracking implementations
- Assist in setting up and syncing product catalogs to Meta Commerce, Google Merchant Center, and other ad platforms
- Support ecommerce ad readiness by linking catalogs and confirming purchase events are firing properly
- Coordinate with ad teams to verify data accuracy and platform compatibility
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience with web design, tracking implementation, or digital marketing operations
- Strong working knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Meta Pixel setup
- Comfortable working across multiple CMS platforms and ecommerce tools
- Familiar with conversion tracking, event configuration, and attribution setup
- Meticulous with details and documentation
- Self-directed, communicative, and proactive in troubleshooting
Nice to Have
- Experience syncing product catalogs and integrating commerce platforms with ad tools
