Shape the future of digital insurance through clean, performant frontend development. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for building and refining user-facing features using modern web standards, ensuring they are fast, accessible, and scalable across devices.
What You’ll Do
- Implement responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Work closely with UX designers to transform wireframes and prototypes into functional code
- Optimize frontend performance to deliver smooth, reliable user experiences
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow
- Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and maintainability
- Evaluate emerging frontend tools and techniques to keep our development practices current
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record in frontend development with a strong portfolio of implemented projects
- Deep understanding of core web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework
- Knowledge of version control workflows using Git and CI/CD integration
- Strong debugging skills and a meticulous approach to implementation
- Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for mobile-first and responsive layouts
- Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js or Python
- Understanding of web security principles and mitigation strategies
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using frameworks like Jest or Mocha
- Active involvement in developer communities or open-source contributions
