About the Role
The individual will support the movement of data between systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the migration process.
Responsibilities
- Extract data from legacy platforms for transition to new environments
- Map source data fields to corresponding destination structures
- Cleanse and standardize data to meet target system requirements
- Identify and resolve discrepancies during data transfer phases
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand schema designs
- Document data lineage and transformation rules
- Validate migrated data for completeness and correctness
- Support testing procedures including unit and integration checks
- Monitor data quality metrics throughout the migration lifecycle
- Troubleshoot errors encountered during import processes
- Maintain version control for migration scripts and workflows
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards
- Prepare status updates for project stakeholders
- Assist in planning migration timelines and milestones
- Optimize data transfer methods for performance and reliability
