Buoy Software is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to take ownership of our software quality process. This is a full-time, permanent position where you will be instrumental in building a culture of quality and shipping reliable products.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Lead the triage and root cause analysis of defects, driving issues to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams throughout the entire software lifecycle.
- Establish and champion quality metrics and best practices across the engineering organization.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or software development engineering in test.
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing test automation for web applications and/or APIs.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern testing methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
