Televicentro of Puerto Rico is looking for a Web Designer to join our Sales Department's production team. You will be responsible for creating the look, design, and features of properties produced for WAPA clients, executing all tasks according to established company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
What You'll Do
- Create the entire graphic concept for priorities as established by the Executive Producer.
- Design openings, transitions, lower thirds, animated walls, and other motion graphics.
- Create art for WAPA.TV and social networks using Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Develop or utilize templates for official internal documents in Word and PowerPoint.
- Build interactive HTML5 banners and video banners using Google Web Designer and Filezilla FTP.
- Perform any other task required by your supervisor for the department's functioning.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from an accredited institution.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous work.
- Three (3) years of experience in related areas.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and cutting designs in HTML/CSS.
- Ability to read, write, and interpret Spanish and English proficiently.
- Creative ability to develop content concepts focused on advancing marketing strategies for brands, products, and services.
- Initiative to present ideas.
- An efficient level of communication, organization, and planning.
- Knowledge of basic principles of web and social media traffic and audience measurement, and ability to analyze and use them to benefit content strategy.
- Basic knowledge of video editing and graphic design for television and digital media.
- Willingness to work different schedules, including weekends, holidays, nights, and early mornings.
- Proactivity, attention to detail, and ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure, and quickly.
Nice to Have
- Experience as a Motion Graphic Designer with knowledge in Web Designer.
