Role Overview
We are looking for a Test and Validation Engineer based in Morocco to support automotive embedded systems development through Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing. You will play a key role in verifying the functionality, reliability, and safety of electronic control units used in modern vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test cases for automotive ECUs and subsystems using HIL simulation environments.
- Run validation cycles to confirm system behavior aligns with technical requirements and industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to HIL test benches to maintain efficient operations.
- Update simulation models and test scenarios as system designs evolve.
- Create automated test scripts using Python, CAPL, or MATLAB to improve testing efficiency.
- Integrate test procedures into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous validation.
- Review test outcomes to detect anomalies in software or hardware performance.
- Produce comprehensive reports covering test coverage, defect analysis, and validation progress.
- Verify communication protocols including CAN, LIN, FlexRay, and Ethernet within system architectures.
- Ensure all validation activities meet automotive compliance standards such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, and OEM-specific guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s level engineering degree (BAC+5) with a focus on embedded systems.
- Proven background in HIL-based testing for automotive applications.
- Solid understanding of vehicle electronic systems, including sensors, actuators, and control units.
- Hands-on experience with HIL platforms such as dSPACE, Vector CANoe, NI VeriStand, or ETAS.
- Proficiency in automotive communication protocols: CAN, LIN, UDS, FlexRay, and Ethernet.
- Experience writing test automation scripts in Python, CAPL, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Ability to develop and execute structured validation plans.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing system-level issues.
- Fluent communication skills in English.

Work Location
This role is based in one of the following cities: Fez, Rabat, Tetouan, or Casablanca. The position requires on-site presence.
