As a Cycle Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of advanced eBike systems through comprehensive testing and validation. Your work will directly influence the quality and performance of products shaping the future of urban mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed manual tests on eBike systems, analyzing results to verify functionality, durability, and system robustness.
- Conduct component-level testing throughout the development cycle to detect and resolve issues at early stages.
- Work hand-in-hand with software engineers, offering actionable feedback to support smooth feature integration and system optimization.
- Take part in requirement evaluations to ensure specifications are clear, complete, and testable.
- Lead defect identification, documentation, and tracking efforts to support high-quality software delivery and iterative improvements.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in IT, Mechatronics, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on experience in testing, system validation, or quality assurance within embedded systems environments.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills.
- Proficiency with tools including Xray, CAN, CANoe, vTESTstudio, Git, Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with requirements traceability and management practices.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership, capable of managing complex tasks independently.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with thorough documentation habits.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to shared goals and ongoing skill development.
- Passionate about technology and eager to explore how eBike systems function and evolve.
- Curious by nature, always looking to understand and improve technical solutions.
Preferred Knowledge
- Experience with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262 or ISO 13849/FUSI.
- Background using debugging tools like Lauterbach.
