As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll lead the development of intuitive, data-driven tools using an all-TypeScript stack—React on the frontend and Node on the backend—while integrating LLMs and AI techniques to streamline workflows for insurance experts.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end delivery of features—from concept to production—ensuring robust, scalable solutions
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data teams to define problems, prototype solutions, and validate with users
- Design and implement agentic AI systems that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency
- Model complex insurance data relationships into clear, usable interfaces that empower users
- Contribute to a remote-first culture that values accountability, continuous learning, and technical excellence
What We’re Looking For
- Proven expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node, or a closely related stack
- Experience shipping and maintaining production-grade software
- Demonstrated ability to guide product and business strategy through technical insight
- Comfort working across the full development lifecycle, including specification, testing, and iteration
- Openness to occasional travel for team gatherings in Austin or other offsites
