About the Role

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement robust backend systems that support high-volume transaction processing
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements and deliverables
- Own critical components of the platform from design through production deployment
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and system observability
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical decision-making across teams
- Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems
- Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and maintainable
- Work with data storage solutions to optimize query efficiency and reliability
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis for production issues
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve platform capabilities
- Define and enforce API standards across services
- Participate in system design reviews and provide technical feedback
- Improve deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Support compliance and audit requirements for financial systems
