Prematch is hiring a Staff Product Engineer in Canada to build impactful software for Talent Acquisition teams and beyond. You'll join a team focused on shipping high-quality features end-to-end, with significant ownership over product and design decisions in a minimal-process, high-agency environment.
What You'll Do
- Own a large portion of one of our products, taking projects from concept to completion while wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design.
- Research competitors, write product specifications, create wireframes, and make key product decisions.
- Ship features end-to-end at a high pace.
- Establish reusable building blocks across the technology stack and advocate for the time and space to do so.
- Tackle projects with significant product and technical ambiguity, building powerful abstractions.
- Create leverage in your work through automation and tooling.
- Vet decisions with stakeholders and collaborate with other engineers to get projects across the finish line.

Team & Environment
The engineering team is on track to double this year, with more than 90% of the team considered Senior or above. Engineers run their own projects with ownership over decisions normally made by product and design.
