Lead the design and delivery of real-world AI systems from initial concept through to production deployment. As a Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer, you'll work in small, experienced teams to build robust, scalable solutions for mid-market and enterprise clients. Projects typically go live within 8 to 12 weeks, emphasizing speed without compromising security, reliability, or maintainability.
What You’ll Do
- Take full ownership of AI features—designing, building, and deploying full-stack implementations from UI to backend to infrastructure
- Implement advanced AI patterns including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), agent workflows, tool-calling, structured prompting, evaluation frameworks, and safety guardrails
- Use AI-powered development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or Copilot to accelerate output while ensuring high code standards
- Make independent technical decisions on architecture, scope, and trade-offs, keeping projects moving without bottlenecks
- Collaborate directly with client-facing strategists and stakeholders to clarify requirements and remove blockers
- Handle light DevOps responsibilities such as configuring environments, managing secrets, and setting up CI/CD pipelines—with support available when needed
- Operate with speed and responsibility: prototype quickly, then refine for production readiness, cost efficiency, and auditability
What We’re Looking For
- Professional working proficiency in English (B2–C1 level)
- Proven experience turning unclear or evolving requirements into working, production-deployed AI systems
- Ability to function as the top technical contributor on a project stream
- Track record of delivering real AI features—not just prototypes or research projects
- Experience balancing rapid iteration with production-quality standards
- Reliable availability during U.S. Eastern Time hours for collaboration and occasional client meetings
- Self-directed mindset with strong ownership and initiative
Environment & Culture
We operate with lean, senior-led teams focused on tangible delivery. There’s no separation between strategy and execution—engineers build systems that go live, not just designs. You’ll work on projects with clear timelines and real-world impact, avoiding theoretical or isolated architecture roles. Mentorship is peer-driven, and there’s no expectation to manage or supervise junior developers.
This is a remote-first role with flexibility built in, though consistent overlap with Eastern Time is required. Projects often extend beyond the initial 3–4 month timeline based on client needs.
