GSB Solutions is looking for a Sr Test Automation Engineer to join our team operating at the Latin American level. This senior role blends automation leadership with manual testing responsibilities, focusing on ensuring product quality across functional and non-functional domains.
What You'll Do
- Lead the test activities to ensure product quality.
- Design, develop, and support test cases for functional and non-functional domains and resolve issues that may impede the test effort.
- Drive the identification of the test scope and test environment set-up, prepare test plans, identify relevant metrics and keep track of required effort.
- Manage the execution of tests, review reports and interpret recommendations for product or design changes.
- Contribute, review and implement internal quality control standards.
- Develop relationships with other engineering groups to evaluate, recommend and implement testing procedures for products, systems, components or modifications.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in testing concepts/standards & Agile methodology.
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Good understanding on Automation Testing concepts. The candidate should be able to implement automation strategy.
- Hands-on experience authoring, building and adopting large-scale, automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, functional, API and back-end integration (including end-to-end automation) and experience with different test automation approaches.
- Experience in Selenium with Java / Python - Knowledge at scripting/coding level.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience and knowledge of Azure DevOps or any relevant defect management tool and CI/CD.
- ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
- If you are a foreigner residing in Mexico, you must have a valid INE, CURP, NSS and RFC.
