About the Role
The position supports secure SAP operations by managing user access, enforcing security policies, and maintaining compliance across S4 HANA and Fiori systems in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain SAP security configurations across S4 HANA environments
- Define and enforce user authorization policies and role-based access controls
- Conduct regular access reviews and segregation of duties analysis
- Support audit requirements and compliance initiatives related to SAP systems
- Troubleshoot security-related issues in production and test landscapes
- Collaborate with functional teams to implement secure system designs
- Develop and maintain documentation for security procedures and protocols
- Monitor for unauthorized access attempts and potential security breaches
- Implement transport management controls for SAP changes
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory security standards
- Lead security testing during system upgrades and patches
- Configure and manage Fiori application authorizations
- Support integration of SAP with identity management systems
- Perform user provisioning and de-provisioning in line with HR processes
- Assist in disaster recovery planning for SAP security components
- Evaluate new security tools and technologies for SAP landscape
- Provide guidance on secure SAP best practices to stakeholders
- Maintain emergency user management protocols (e.g., SAP* access)
- Coordinate with external auditors during security assessments
- Deliver training on SAP security principles to technical teams
