As the IGA Domain and Solution Architect, you will drive the strategic direction of Identity Governance & Administration across a multinational organization. Your primary responsibility is to transform enterprise IT objectives into robust, future-ready IGA frameworks that support secure access, compliance, and operational efficiency at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert high-level IT strategy into actionable IGA governance models, standards, and operating practices, including the definition and oversight of policies, controls, and performance indicators.
- Establish and maintain the long-term vision for IGA architecture, ensuring alignment with global enterprise technology goals and guiding investment decisions across portfolios.
- Provide technical leadership to cross-functional delivery teams, advising product owners and engineers while maintaining core architectural documentation such as reference models, solution blueprints, and policy frameworks.
- Design comprehensive IGA solutions from concept to implementation, ensuring they are secure by design, compliant by design, scalable, and optimized for licensing and vendor alignment.
- Serve as a senior escalation point during delivery and operations, resolving architectural risks, supporting incident analysis, contributing to audits, and participating in on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in designing and implementing IGA/IAM architectures within large, complex environments.
- Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management, including provisioning, access requests, approvals, and periodic access certifications.
- Strong grasp of role-based and attribute-based access control (RBAC/ABAC), authentication and authorization protocols, and security-first design principles.
- Experience developing and maintaining reference architectures, solution designs, and architectural decision records.
- Ability to lead technical teams, influence stakeholders, and communicate architectural direction clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Background supporting operational stability through root cause analysis, audit readiness, and technical debt management.
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring presence in the office for at least 50% of working hours. Based in Zaandam, the position supports a globally distributed technology environment with a strong emphasis on inclusion, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual gross salary ranges from €80,000 to €90,000, inclusive of holiday pay for full-time employment.
