We're looking for a Junior Cloud Security Consultant to strengthen our cloud security practice. In this role, you'll work directly with clients to assess and enhance their security posture in Microsoft cloud environments, with a focus on Azure and Microsoft 365.
What You'll Do
- Architect and deploy secure Microsoft Entra ID environments, including identity lifecycle management, multi-factor authentication, and conditional access policies
- Design and implement Privileged Access Management solutions using PIM, just-in-time access, and emergency break-glass accounts
- Configure and optimize Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, and Defender for Identity to strengthen threat detection and response
- Set up Microsoft Sentinel with data connectors, analytics rules, UEBA, and automated playbooks using Logic Apps
- Build secure cloud landing zones using Azure Policy, Bicep, Terraform, and management groups to enforce governance at scale
- Implement hybrid identity solutions with secure synchronization and hardened federation configurations
- Manage secrets, keys, and certificates through Azure Key Vault with role-based access and purge protection
- Enforce data protection using Microsoft Purview, including DLP policies, sensitivity labeling, and insider risk management
- Secure collaboration platforms like Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive with anti-phishing, safe links, and external sharing controls
- Support compliance initiatives through eDiscovery, legal hold, audit logging, and regulatory alignment
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of one year in cloud security, specifically with Azure or Microsoft 365 environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft security tools such as Entra ID, Defender suite, Sentinel, Purview, and Intune
- Understanding of cloud security frameworks like CIS Benchmarks or Microsoft Cloud Security Benchmark
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience documenting technical findings
- Active Microsoft cloud certification (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-300, SC-200, SC-400)
- Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member countries
Preferred Background
- Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field
- Experience in a consulting environment
- Additional cybersecurity certifications such as SSCP or CompTIA Security+
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or Python for automation and tooling
