Role OverviewAs a senior technical advisor, you will support customers and internal teams in deploying and optimizing advanced wireless communication systems. Operating independently across dynamic environments, you'll lead technical evaluations, resolve complex field challenges, and contribute insights that shape product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical expert for wireless systems, guiding customers through solution design and implementation based on operational needs.
- Plan and execute technical demonstrations and extended field trials, adapting configurations to real-world conditions.
- Diagnose and resolve network and hardware issues on-site or remotely, using deep knowledge of TCP/IP, RF systems, and network architecture.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve system performance and troubleshoot field-reported issues.
- Deliver tailored technical training to users, adjusting content to audience experience and mission objectives.
- Document field findings and recommend enhancements that influence product roadmaps and support practices.
- Represent the company as a trusted advisor during customer engagements, shaping technical decisions through expert insight.
- Balance multiple assignments and travel schedules with minimal oversight, ensuring consistent support across customer sites.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary education completed; technical degree preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience supporting communications systems in defense, military, or law enforcement contexts.
- 1–3 years in a customer-facing technical support or field service role.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network design, and radio frequency fundamentals.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage concurrent customer projects.
- Fluency in English (reading and writing); Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a plus.
- Must be located in Taiwan and willing to travel frequently, including to high-demand regions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and signal generators.
- Background in DoD tactical comms, mesh networking, or military radio systems.
- Familiarity with Linux, scripting, or C/C++ programming.
- Prior military service in a technical or communications role.
Work Environment
This role is remote-first with a requirement to be based in Taiwan. Up to 75% travel is expected, including on-site visits and deployments. You’ll operate with autonomy while contributing to a collaborative, innovation-driven team focused on public safety and defense technology.
