Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end research projects from planning to synthesis
- Design and conduct usability tests, interviews, and surveys
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to define research goals
- Translate findings into clear, actionable insights
- Develop research roadmaps aligned with product strategy
- Present results to stakeholders across teams
- Maintain a centralized repository of research data
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in research workflows
- Ensure ethical standards in participant recruitment and data handling
- Support the development of user personas and journey maps
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human-computer interaction, psychology, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in user experience research
- Proven track record of conducting independent research studies
- Strong skills in qualitative and mixed-methods research
- Experience with remote research tools and platforms
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives
- Proficiency in research documentation and reporting
- Experience mentoring junior researchers
- Familiarity with agile product development cycles
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design
- Background in behavioral science or cognitive psychology
- Experience with longitudinal research studies
- Familiarity with statistical analysis software
- Published research or conference presentations
- Experience working with distributed teams
