About the Role
Lead the strategic direction and execution of AI-powered capabilities in the Kotlin ecosystem, aligning technical vision with user needs and market trends to deliver impactful developer tools.
Responsibilities
- Define product vision and roadmap for AI-enhanced features in Kotlin tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams to guide technical implementation
- Gather and analyze feedback from developers and stakeholders
- Prioritize initiatives based on user impact and technical feasibility
- Work closely with UX designers to create intuitive developer experiences
- Monitor performance metrics to assess feature effectiveness
- Stay current with advancements in AI and programming language ecosystems
- Represent the product in cross-team discussions and planning sessions
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements
- Drive alignment between research, development, and product goals
- Evaluate third-party integrations relevant to AI tooling
- Support go-to-market strategies for new capabilities
- Advocate for developer needs across internal teams
- Identify opportunities to improve tooling workflows
- Ensure consistency with long-term Kotlin platform strategy
- Manage trade-offs between innovation and stability
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to technical documentation and release notes
