Included Health is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core backend services that power our integrated healthcare platform.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement robust, scalable backend services and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical specifications
- Lead the development of key platform features from conception to deployment
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and conduct thorough code reviews
- Contribute to system architecture decisions to ensure long-term scalability and reliability
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in production environments
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record of designing and building backend systems in a production environment
- Strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C#)
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Deep understanding of data storage solutions (SQL, NoSQL) and API design
- Ability to mentor other engineers and improve team processes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to engineering best practices
