Role Overview
As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining high-performance applications using Microsoft’s .NET ecosystem, including .NET 6 and later versions. You'll work closely with teams across functions to deliver scalable solutions that align with enterprise goals, reporting directly to the AVP of Enterprise Architect and Integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, efficient applications leveraging .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to define technical requirements and deliver reliable features.
- Optimize application performance by identifying and resolving system bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices that support distributed architectures and seamless data flow.
- Conduct detailed code reviews to ensure consistency, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to enable rapid, stable deployments.
- Stay current with evolving technologies, tools, and architectural patterns in cloud computing and software integration.
- Support infrastructure automation using Terraform and promote Infrastructure-as-Code principles across environments.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 7 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern .NET versions (6+).
- Practical knowledge of Python, including data structures, algorithms, and scripting.
- Proven experience with AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, S3, RDS, and SQS.
- Experience containerizing applications using Docker and orchestrating them via Kubernetes and Helm.
- Familiarity with relational and data warehouse platforms including SQL Server, Redshift, Aurora, Databricks, and Snowflake.
- Deep understanding of microservices design, implementation, and lifecycle management.
- Expertise in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with Git and Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position with team locations in Bermuda, New York, London, and Stockholm. Flexible work arrangements are supported, allowing for a balanced approach to in-office and remote collaboration.
