Shape quality from the ground up as a Senior QA Engineer in a role that goes beyond test execution. You'll design and refine end-to-end QA strategies for complex products, focusing on manual and exploratory techniques that uncover issues automated systems might miss. Your work will ensure not only technical correctness but also a seamless, intuitive user experience.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and lead manual testing strategies for full product lifecycles, adapting approaches to meet evolving technical and business needs
- Conduct in-depth exploratory testing, probing edge cases and real-world usage patterns to expose hidden defects
- Act as the primary advocate for quality, guiding teams to adopt best practices and embed quality early in the development process
- Track, document, and report on key quality metrics, providing clear insights into product health for engineers, product managers, and clients
- Collaborate with product and technical leads to define acceptance criteria and support release decisions
- Lead investigations into critical quality issues, coordinating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement lasting fixes
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of hands-on testing experience with web, mobile, and API-based systems
- Proven ability to lead QA independently on complex projects, building strategy and process from the ground up
- Strong technical intuition—comfortable using DevTools, Postman, and other API clients to investigate system behavior
- Deep understanding of client-server interactions and modern software architectures
- Experience integrating manual testing into CI/CD workflows and contributing to release cycles
- Skill in maintaining clear, actionable test documentation and communicating results across technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to assess risk, articulate tradeoffs, and prioritize testing efforts based on impact
- Self-driven, curious, and committed to continuous improvement in both testing methods and software quality
- Fluency in written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
