Role Overview
As a Senior QA Engineer focused on cloud infrastructure, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity and performance of backend systems that power blockchain-based financial services. Your work will span both automated and manual testing strategies, ensuring robustness, scalability, and accuracy across critical components.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and support teams to design and implement comprehensive test automation cases.
- Investigate, reproduce, and analyze backend software defects, conducting root cause analysis for test failures.
- Perform hands-on manual testing to validate system behavior and uncover edge cases in unreleased features.
- Identify gaps in existing test coverage and develop solutions to improve scripting accuracy and scope.
- Define test requirements and document test scenarios for new functionality and system changes.
- Stay current with evolving technologies and continuously refine testing methodologies to increase efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on backend and automation testing.
- Proven expertise in QA automation frameworks, test design, and backend validation processes.
- Strong coding ability in Java, with practical experience writing and debugging test scripts.
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and query analysis.
- Skilled in diagnosing root causes of software issues and troubleshooting complex system behaviors.
- Independent mindset with sharp analytical abilities and a drive to understand not just failures, but their underlying causes.
- User-focused approach with logical reasoning and clear communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with blockchain technology or digital asset exchanges is a strong advantage.
- Experience testing web and mobile applications in functional environments.
