About the Role
The individual will own end-to-end design processes, from research and ideation to high-fidelity prototypes and implementation support, aligning design solutions with business goals and user needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of complex product features from concept through delivery
- Conduct user research to uncover pain points and validate design solutions
- Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements
- Translate business objectives into intuitive and accessible user interfaces
- Advocate for user needs throughout the development lifecycle
- Iterate on designs based on qualitative and quantitative feedback
- Maintain and evolve the design system for consistency across platforms
- Present design work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback
- Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards
- Drive design critiques and contribute to team best practices
- Support user testing initiatives and analyze results
- Work closely with engineering to ensure accurate implementation
- Balance user needs with technical constraints and business goals
- Contribute to long-term product vision and roadmap planning
- Mentor junior designers and foster a culture of design excellence
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
- Use data to inform and validate design decisions
- Coordinate with marketing and customer support for user communication
- Ensure brand alignment across all customer-facing experiences
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight timelines
- Promote user-centered design principles across teams
- Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and user retention
- Design for responsive and mobile-first experiences
- Collaborate with UX writers to refine microcopy and messaging
