About the Role
This position involves partnering with sales teams to deliver compelling solution demonstrations, translate customer requirements into technical designs, and support the acquisition of new public sector clients through consultative selling and deep product expertise.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client objectives and technical requirements
- Design and present customized solution demonstrations for public sector prospects
- Translate customer challenges into scalable technology implementations
- Conduct discovery sessions to assess organizational needs and workflows
- Articulate product value propositions tailored to government and public institutions
- Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to validate solution approaches
- Support responses to public sector procurement requests and RFPs
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of platform capabilities and industry trends
- Work with cross-functional teams to refine solution offerings
- Identify integration points between client systems and the platform
- Advocate for customer needs during product development discussions
- Deliver technical presentations to executive and technical audiences
- Assist in scoping implementation timelines and resource needs
- Ensure alignment between business processes and solution architecture
- Participate in customer workshops and solution design sessions
- Stay informed about regulatory and compliance requirements in public sector
- Provide input on competitive positioning and differentiation
- Support negotiation phases with technical clarification and validation
- Track and report on presales engagement metrics
- Mentor junior team members on solution consulting best practices
- Maintain documentation of solution designs and customer interactions
- Coordinate with technical teams for complex environment validations
- Promote best practices in digital transformation for government entities
- Ensure consistent messaging across sales and technical teams
- Contribute to the evolution of presales methodologies
