Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer (Remote - New York)

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of software development experience, including at least 4 years contributing to large, team-based codebases.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Go or Rust programming languages.
  • Solid understanding of computer science principles, systems design, and building reliable software systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and support CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI.
  • Proven track record writing end-to-end tests for distributed and highly available systems.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code practices and large-scale observability platforms.
  • In-depth experience with Unix-based operating systems and/or orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.

Nice to Have

  • Interest in creating developer tools that significantly enhance engineering team productivity.
  • Self-motivated approach with a strong balance between independent initiative and effective teamwork.
  • Curiosity about or prior exposure to Web3 and blockchain-related technologies.
